And he said unto them, Let us go into the

next towns, that I may preach there also:
for therefore came I forth.

Our Ministry Vision
Our desire is to see the Lord raise up and strengthen the Hispanic ministry here in the United States and in Spanish-speaking countries
around the world. As the Lord leads, we plan to partner with local churches to establish Hispanic missions within their ministries. This would
include evangelistic campaigns, special meetings, and Bible Studies. We would help in training workers and in preparing called men to
lead these works. We would help the American pastor in understanding the mission’s needs with the goal of making it financially independent.
We also have a strong desire to aid missionaries and national pastors in Hispanic countries. We hope to help them in special
meetings and conferences or simply to support them by helping in evangelization and in supplying literature. We also want to be available
to lead church groups on special mission trips.
Letter From Our Pastor

Thank you for considering the Paquette family for your missions’ program. Bro. Clark,
Sis. Robyn and their children are faithful members of Calvary Baptist Church and are
some of the hardest working missionaries I have ever seen and had the privilege to pastor. They are veteran missionaries having served for ten
years in Mexico. After returning to the U.S. due to the drug wars, they have not slowed down in their desire to reach the Hispanic people. Bro.
Clark, as a missionary, is helping us here at Calvary to establish our Hispanic ministry and is
doing a tremendous job. He is also working to help other local churches establish Hispanic
missions throughout the U.S. and to aid in works in Spanish-speaking countries abroad. I know
that they would be a blessing to your church and worthy of your support.

The Yankee
I was raised in a moral, but not Christian home. My father was American Baptist and my mother was Catholic, but I grew up attending an Episcopal church. After a house fire that nearly took our lives, the Lord began working in my parents’ hearts. After many months and many different denominations, we were invited to a Bible church. One Sunday morning after hearing a message on hell, I asked the Lord Jesus to forgive me, cleanse me from my sins, and save me.
The Southern Belle
I was raised in a Christian home. When I was three, my father was killed in a hunting accident. My mother kept us in a fundamental, Baptist church and enrolled us in a Christian school. After my 1st grade teacher gave a lesson on the wordless book, I went home and could not get away from the fact that if I died I would go to hell. That night, I knelt by my mother’s bed and asked Jesus into my heart.
The Union
We met at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, SC while Robyn was in high school and I was in college. We were married on September 16, 1988. We have been blessed with seven children: Alycia, James, Victoria, Eva, Alena, Ana, and Lydia. Alycia married Aaron Cruse and they have blessed us with our first grandchild, Chandler. James is a junior at a college and the girls are attending Southview Christian School here in Statesville.
History of Our Ministry
In January of 1999, I surrendered to the call to preach and to missions. The Lord confirmed it in our hearts that He wanted us in Mexico and we began deputation in August of that same year.
We arrived in Mexico in June of 2001 to get housing and a “feel” for the area. I later began language school in August. After completing my studies, we continued in the city of Aguascalientes helping a national pastor in a local church. We involved ourselves with cantatas, visitation, teaching, and taking charge of a mission just outside the city.
In August of 2002, the Lord burdened our hearts for a village called Pabellón de Arteaga, about 45 minutes north of where we were. The Lord began the work there with two families that had been saved under the ministry of my father-in-law, Jack Holden. Although the people were very steeped in their religion, we began to see the Lord move and save souls and add to His church. As we experienced the blessings of the Lord, we moved several times into larger buildings.
Throughout our time in Pabellón, we had the opportunity to go into many other villages around us and present the Gospel. We were able to see many souls saved and a few Bible Studies started. The most exciting one that we had was in a mountain village called Túnel de Potrerillos where we saw five people saved. Up to the time we left, we had weekly Bible Studies with them.
In July of 2010, the Lord made it very clear to us that we had finished the work that He had for us there. With the drug cartels taking over much of Mexico including our village, it was becoming increasingly dangerous for our family. We left the church with an attendance over 100 faithfully each Sunday and a national pastor in charge. After much prayer, the Lord directed us to continue our ministry with Hispanics from here in the United States out of Calvary Baptist Church in Statesville, NC where I am presently helping them in their Hispanic ministry.
Our Present Ministry
We started the Hispanic ministry with Dr. Chris Haizlip at Calvary Baptist Church in September of 2010. There were two families attending in addition to two other men. We began meeting in a Sunday school room and by February of 2011, we needed to move to the larger Children’s church area The Lord added many to the church through salvation or through other believers seeking a strong Bible church. We have seen the attendance grow to as many as 100, but have a faithful group of at least 65 each Sunday. We have an active bus ministry, visitation, Sunday school program, children’s church, Bible Institute, and music ministry. Three young men have been called to preach and we are grooming them for the ministry. We have also helped in Hispanic works in Lexington and Ronda in NC and in Lawrence, MA.
