around the world. As the Lord leads, we plan to partner with local churches to establish Hispanic missions within their ministries. This would
include evangelistic campaigns, special meetings, and Bible Studies. We would help in training workers and in preparing called men to
lead these works. We would help the American pastor in understanding the mission’s needs with the goal of making it financially independent.
We also have a strong desire to aid missionaries and national pastors in Hispanic countries. We hope to help them in special
meetings and conferences or simply to support them by helping in evangelization and in supplying literature. We also want to be available
to lead church groups on special mission trips.
Thank you for considering the Paquette family for your missions’ program. Bro. Clark,
Sis. Robyn and their children are faithful members of Calvary Baptist Church and are
some of the hardest working missionaries I have ever seen and had the privilege to pastor. They are veteran missionaries having served for ten
years in Mexico. After returning to the U.S. due to the drug wars, they have not slowed down in their desire to reach the Hispanic people. Bro.
Clark, as a missionary, is helping us here at Calvary to establish our Hispanic ministry and is
doing a tremendous job. He is also working to help other local churches establish Hispanic
missions throughout the U.S. and to aid in works in Spanish-speaking countries abroad. I know
that they would be a blessing to your church and worthy of your support.

We arrived in Mexico in June of 2001 to get housing and a “feel” for the area. I later began language school in August. After completing my studies, we continued in the city of Aguascalientes helping a national pastor in a local church. We involved ourselves with cantatas, visitation, teaching, and taking charge of a mission just outside the city.
In August of 2002, the Lord burdened our hearts for a village called Pabellón de Arteaga, about 45 minutes north of where we were. The Lord began the work there with two families that had been saved under the ministry of my father-in-law, Jack Holden. Although the people were very steeped in their religion, we began to see the Lord move and save souls and add to His church. As we experienced the blessings of the Lord, we moved several times into larger buildings.
Throughout our time in Pabellón, we had the opportunity to go into many other villages around us and present the Gospel. We were able to see many souls saved and a few Bible Studies started. The most exciting one that we had was in a mountain village called Túnel de Potrerillos where we saw five people saved. Up to the time we left, we had weekly Bible Studies with them.
In July of 2010, the Lord made it very clear to us that we had finished the work that He had for us there. With the drug cartels taking over much of Mexico including our village, it was becoming increasingly dangerous for our family. We left the church with an attendance over 100 faithfully each Sunday and a national pastor in charge. After much prayer, the Lord directed us to continue our ministry with Hispanics from here in the United States out of Calvary Baptist Church in Statesville, NC where I am presently helping them in their Hispanic ministry.
