Dr. Chris Haizlip and Family

Dr. Chris Haizlip has been the pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church since October of 2002.  Dr Haizlip and his wife Wendy celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary April  8 , 2009 and have one daughter, Danielle. Before coming to Calvary, Dr Haizlip served as pastor of Friendship Baptist in Elon, NC for 14 years, as well as a full time evangelist for 2 years.  Dr. Haizlip has a burden for the youth of our nation, as well as preserving our heritage of "Old Time Religion".  Since coming to Calvary, the church, under pastor Haizlip's leadership, has seen a significant growth with the attendance doubling in the past five years.Also with the completion of our new Family Life Center and newly renovated office complex, we continue to press forward for the glory of God!
