King James Bible

It has always been the policy and practice of Fundamental Baptist Bible College to endorse only the 1611 King James Bible.  We are cognizant of the fact that all other English versions are the direct result of perverted manuscripts, thus producing corrupt fruit.   (Matthew 7:18)  This fact can be proven, not only by the evidence of Biblical manuscripts, but by the means of secular history as well.  It is for this reason that no other English translation of the Bible will ever be endorsed by Fundamental Baptist Bible College.   The King James Bible of 1611 is the only real Bible for the English speaking people.

It is most unfortunate that many great writers in years past did not have access to this knowledge.  Therefore, they were not aware of the satanic plot to overthrow the authority of the English Bible.   Great men such as Clarence Larkin, Herbert Lockyer, and C.I. Scofield were at times guilty of falling prey to Satan’s plot, and were at times guilty of inserting quotes from the Revised Version of 1881-1885, or the American Standard Version of 1901, into their writings.  This is most unfortunate.  However, to discard their works on these grounds would be a result of spiritual immaturity.  Much of the material produced by these men is extremely beneficial and profitable to the believer.  While it is our proven conviction that no work of man can measure up to the body of truth contained in the King James Bible of 1611, the fact remains that God has endowed great men of the past with experience, knowledge, and insight that is indeed valuable to this generation.

If you’ll notice, in the front of your text books, FBBC always places a disclaimer that          states, “The views of this author may or may not reflect the views of FBBC.  FBBC recognizes only the 1611 King James Bible as the Word of God”.   Our textbooks were written by fallible men.  They are not perfect.  There is only one book that is completely perfect, and that is the Word of God, the King James Bible of 1611.

It is due to this conviction that all homework assignments should be completed by using only the King James Bible.  All students are free to disagree with this statement of conviction, but all assignments must be completed by quoting only from the King James Bible.
